Fun Workouts to do with Family & Friends!

“You’re a diamond, dear. They can’t break you.”

Hi lovelies and welcome to my blog. Today’s post is going to be something a bit different.

With the arrival of the new year, I usually always write resolutions. Yet, just a yesterday I’ve realized I always have the same thing on my list. And that thing is to Workout More.

I’m the type of person that say I’m going to workout but, I never do. I really believe its all done to lack of motivation.

So with a tad bit of research and just stuff I do myself, I was able to come up with fun ways to workout! Now most people don’t like to do anything by themselves so, these are ways you can have fun with friends or family but still get that well deserved workout.

#1. Just Dance

I tend to do this a lot with my sister. And it’s so much fun. You don’t even have to own the game to play. Just hope on YouTube, search Just Dance, click on a video, and just start dancing.

My favorite songs to dance to by Just Dance are “Swish Swish” by Katy Perry and “Watch Me” by Silento.

If you’re looking for an intense workout I suggest you choose a fast pace song seeing how they tend to have more moves.

#2. Wii Fit – Aerobics

Another Fun Workout that you don’t need the actual game for. Go on youtube and search “Wii Fit Running” there should be a few videos on there where you can just run with the video.

You and your friends can run with the video until it’s over and that just makes up for the perfect cardio.

I’ve only done this a few times with my sis but it’s still hella fun.

#3. Standard Group Workout Routine

If you’re not that into dancing or running, and you want to try something a bit more simple then this is it.

Now I don’t really know how to explain it well enough so bare with me.

You and your friends can make up one big routine all together then when you’re done just do it. A group routine is better because you can motivate one another to keep going on days one isn’t feeling.

If you all need any ideas here’s a list of some of my favorites.

#4. Forfeit Workout Game

This one is fun but, not as intense as all the others.

Here’s how to Play:

  • Write down and cut out a bunch of exercises and put them in a hat.
  • After that, write down a whole bunch of triva questions (topic of choice) for each person to answer. Each player should have their own
  • When done, have each person take turns asking one another a question.
  • Whoever answers incorrectly has to do a forfeit from the hat which is an exercise. If they answer correctly the player doesn’t have to do the exercise and instead the person who asked the question does.
  • At the end the person with the most points win.

I literally made this up the other day but, I will definitely be trying it with a few of my friends. It’s sounds like so much fun.

 Last but, not least…

We’re taking it back to elementary school gym class.

#5. Team Sports & Recreational Activities

If P.E. was your thing in Elementary School then grab a bunch of your friends and head out your nearest walmart, taor sports store. Grab a whole bunch of fun outdoor equipment and just go crazy.

I’m talking footballs, hula hoops, volleyballs, whatever you want you name it.

You can make up cool games and just go wild. The best part is you’re spending time out of the house.

These are ways I think are really cool and fun so I hope you all will enjoy them too.

Thank you so much for stopping by and just taking time to check out my blog. I really appreciate it.

Happy New Year and as always I hope you have an amazing day or night wherever you are!
